Celebrate New Gallery - Roselyn Cloake Art ExhibitionWhat: Celebration of New Gallery
Stuart Spurr is opening is new art gallery on Bank street Friday night 7pm. I've have some pieces going in with work from Christina Mc Donald, Elizabeth Love, Stuart Spurr and Geoff Cloake.
This area is developing into an arts centre so it's all very exciting. And you'll notice some big changes since my Christmas exhibition. There will be a combination of my private collection (you may have seen prior to Christmas as dislocating my shoulder has put a stop to painting over the last few weeks...) And you will see the beginnings of my new "Icon" Series - Playing on Russian Icons with my Dutch windmill and NZ landscape subject matter.
Be really great to have your support on the night to celebrate the evening. There are a few people going. Stuart's got the piano out as well so we might even have a bit of a jam session, while you guys soak up the wine and refreshments so it should be a fun social night.
